Janet Hansen is an art director at Alfred A. Knopf and Everyman’s Library. Other publishers she has worked for include Farrar, Straus and Giroux, New Directions Publishing, The New Yorker, and A Public Space. In additional to her work as a designer, she teaches at The School of Visual Arts. She lives in an old house in Maplewood, New Jersey with her husband, daughter, and two whippets.
